Biography

Aaron Chan is the Managing Director for Community Property Reinvestments (CPR Pacific), a real estate investment company, and the President of ABC Solutions, a merchant processing brokerage firm. CPR initially focused on California foreclosure/short sale fix and flip opportunities, however as the market began to change in 2012, CPR switched its focus to private lending through whole notes and mortgage funds, as well as debt and equity investments via syndications and crowdfunding.
Beginning in the summer of 2013, Mr. Chan’s quest to further diversify his real estate investments led him to research, visit the operations and interview the founders of top crowdfunding platforms across the country in order to differentiate between their various strengths and weaknesses. His experience with 40+ separate investments on 7 platforms, investing on behalf of CPR Pacific LLC, his self-directed 401K and his self-directed Roth 401K accounts gives him a unique perspective and vantage point within the Real Estate crowdfunding arena. His opinion is valued by fellow investors, venture capitalists and the crowdfunding platforms themselves.
Mr. Chan graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Economics and East Asian Languages, and a minor in City Planning. He has held a California real estate license for over 20 years, working the first 6 years as an investment broker with Marcus & Millichap to exclusively represent commercial developers, national food/retail tenants, and REITS with their build-to-suit and NNN properties sales nationwide. He’s also had many years of mortgage banking experience working with lending subsidiaries of Lehman Brothers and GE Capital.
