Biography
Kathy Norwood, EdD, PCC, is a K-12 national educational consultant, trainer, coach and founder of Designs for Change. She is certified as a professional coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and holds a vision for bridging educational coaching with the profession of coaching. Since 1996, Dr. Norwood has helped school districts nationwide develop and implement customized comprehensive coaching and literacy programs. Kathy provides individual and group coaching to administrators and leadership coaches. She trains groups of educational coaches in evidence-based approaches to coaching. She provides “Train the Trainer” workshops for teacher leaders and consultants.
Dr. Norwood completed her doctorate program in Educational Leadership and Change from Fielding University. Her collaborative dissertation with Dr. Burke was titled: Transformational Coaching in Education: A Collaborative Look at the Bridges and Barriers to Learning.
Currently, Kathy continues her national consulting work and teaches for Fielding’s Evidence Based Coaching Program.
