Biography
Roxanne Amico is the chair of performing arts and is as faculty trustee on Cedar Crest College's Board of Trustees. Roxanne has been the stage designer for over 125 productions with hundreds of original designs in the areas of scenery, costumes and lighting. Recently, Roxanne completed a play on cyber bullying to be performed for middle school students in the Lehigh Valley.
Serving as the chair of performing arts for 22 years, Roxanne has also served as the dean of faculty, dean of academic services and acting provost. She also co-chaired the development of the Freshman Year Experience, a program to help first-year students get involved on campus.
Roxanne teaches theatre history, costume design, lighting design, set design, history of fashion, sophomore seminar, psychology and dramatic literature.

Every day I think about the amazing students who I have known and am grateful for the opportunity to be someone who was an important influence on their lives and I reflect on how they have also transformed my life."

"About Face" is written by Cedar Crest professor and Performing Arts Chair Roxanne Amico and directed by Clair Freeman. The subject of bullying, in particular cyber-bullying, is a growing problem among school-age children. Studies show that bullying tends to peak in late childhood/early adolescence, making prevention and intervention efforts in middle school crucial.
Social
