About

The Software & Information Industry Association is the leading voice on key issues affecting the software and information industry, particularly with regards to electronic commerce and the digital marketplace. SIIA is the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries and provides global services in government relations, business development, corporate education and intellectual property protection to the leading companies that are setting the pace for the digital age. The SIIA Store is your source for reports, surveys, handbooks and how-to guides that help you in every aspect of making your software & information business successful and getting the edge on your competitors. And best of all – many publications are free to members. SIIA hosts a wide variety of Events thoughout the year, providing attendees with unique forums to help them stay current with business trends, public policy issues and technological developments in the industry; to meet with leading executives and exchange ideas and opinions; and to develop business relationships throughout the industry that help companies grow. The annual SIIA Codie Awards were established in 1986 so that the pioneers of the up-and-coming software industry could evaluate and honor each other's work. During the past 27 years, the CODiE Awards have recognized more than 1,000 software and information companies for achieving excellence. The CODiE Awards remain the only peer-recognized program in the content, education, and software industries so each CODiE Award win serves as incredible market validation for a product’s innovation, vision, and overall industry impact. SIIA, the only association bringing together all business segments in the software & information industry, provides its members the tools they need to understand and navigate the industry's changing landscape.
