How to get the best out of wine

In order to get the best out of wine, its essential that a few basics are observed. These can include

What grape is the wine made out of?
Is it a blend or a varietal?
Which vintage is it from?
Where were the grapes grown?
When were the grapes harvested?
How to taste wine?
