Dudley Gray II

Biography

Professor Dudley Gray brings to the students at LMU a wealth of practical experience. Professor Gray recently concluded a 23 year career as a Judge for the State of California. This included a term as presiding Judge of the South Bay Judicial District.

Prior to taking the bench, Professor Gray was actively engaged in the successful private practice of law. To complement the 35 years of real life experience that Professor Gray brings to the classroom, he has also been teaching for many years.

Now a member of our Communications Department staff, Professor Gray genuinely enjoys the interaction with his students. He is quick to point out that he always learns something from his students. He also reminds us that every social issue is eventually a legal issue and that every student can benefit from a greater basic understanding of how the law affects our daily lives.
