Karen Green is an expert in community mental health, municipal social services, and school social work.


KAREN GREEN serves as an adjunct lecturer for field education at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work’s Virtual Academic Center. A licensed clinical social worker, she has worked in the United States and Canada in the areas of community mental health, municipal social services and school social work.

With a strong commitment to serving the emotional, relational and spiritual needs of clients, she has worked with individuals, families, youth and children. She has also helped victims of domestic violence and co-facilitated anger management groups for male perpetrators of domestic violence.

Green enjoys writing and public speaking. She has presented at seminars on topics related to mental health and families, and has also published several articles.
