Biography
Kelly Lambkin is Manager, Community Engagement and Events for Manitoba for Diabetes Canada. She has been with the organization since 2007 and has played a major role in supporting volunteer and community engagement since that time. She specialized in event management and supports the Diabetes Canada's mission funding and mission delivery activities across the province. She works actively with community partners to further the Diabetes Canada’s education and engagement goals around diabetes-related issues.

The Canadian Diabetes Association agrees with Marois. It’s currently lobbying the provincial government to remove the age restriction in Manitoba on insulin pump coverage. "This is why it’s a very important advocacy ask that we’re pushing government to adopt," said Kelly Lambkin of the Canadian Diabetes Association. "In the end, it prevents certainly serious complications as well as a health care burden."
