Biography

I am dedicated to improving the quality of leadership in the 21st century by influencing how leaders think, learn, behave and impact society.

I help leaders rethink, redefine and reshape their organizations and better prepare themselves for new futures.

I believe that clarity, mastery, relevance and agility are essential to grow responsive and purpose driven organizations that are capable of adapting to the major shifts happening in society.

I live in more than one world. This qualifies me to wear different hats as a thinker, leadership advisor, speaker, learning strategist, writer and futurist. My careers are linked by curiosity and a passion for people and ideas that can't be confined in boxes. I take ideas from many fields and trains them to engage. What drives me is pattern recognition, combinatorial creativity, cross-pollination and integrative thinking.

On Twitter people list me in groups like: Visionaries, New Era Leaders, Master Minds, Foresighters, Strategy and Innovation, Future of Work, Leadership Development, Game Changing People, and my favorite: "Twitters who talk about things that interests me."

My previous work has featured in esteemed media like Harvard Business Review, Financial Times, The Economist, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, Forbes, Management Today, The Sunday Times, The Globe and Mail, Developing Leaders, Global Focus, China Economic Review, Personnel Today, Emerald Insight, Training and Development, Strategic Direction, The National, La Depeche, Management Issues, and all major Scandinavian media outlets.
