Dr. Ma has diverse education and research backgrounds in chemistry, molecular biology, electrical engineering and biomedical engineering. He has over 30 research papers published in journals and conference proceedings such as ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Sensors and Actuators, NSTI Nanotech, AVS, ASME Nanotech, SPIE, SCL ICALT, IEEE/ASEE FIE. He has more than 13 years of experience working in micro-/nanotechnology and embedded system designs in biomedical applications. He is also working on several education research projects using modern IT technologies to enhance undergraduate education.
