Biography

LINDA KAYE is an adjunct lecturer at the Virtual Academic Center. She currently serves as a clinical supervisor and clinician for the Wellness Center program at Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center in Los Angeles.

Her social work career encompasses almost every aspect of care in a hospital setting and includes both supervisory and administrative positions. A licensed clinical social worker, she has worked in emergency room settings, providing services such as suicide risk assessments and placements, abuse reporting and grief counseling. She also boasts a strong background in specialty social work and has provided consultation social service support for 26 nursing facilities in Southern California and Arizona. In this capacity, she was responsible for the oversight and compliance of standards of care practices, as well as the education and training of staff.
