Biography
Melissa Nemeth is a full time senior lecturer and the K201 Course Coordinator for Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis.
K201 is a business-required computer course at the Kelley School in Indianapolis. Instructors teach computer concepts, intro to advanced spreadsheets, and intermediate database skills (using MS Excel and Access for case examples). Course instructors partner with the Mathematics Assistance Center ( MAC ) on campus to offer tutoring for K201 at no charge to students.
Nemeth earned a Bachelors Degree in Personnel Management from Ball State University and a Masters Degree in Adult Education from Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN. Nemeth worked in a computer lab through college. Later, she worked at a hospital help desk, did computer consulting, managed a reseller’s training department and returned to IUPUI on the education side in 1997.
Nemeth and her husband have been married since 1990, and they have been blessed with four children. When not teaching or coordinating a course, Nemeth enjoys family time, her kids' activities, and family vacations (Disney World and Disneyland are favorites!).
