Biography
Dr. Pickens’ research explores the reasoning processes in home assessment for safety and modification. As well as evaluating the outcomes of environmental modification. My second line of research is in end-of- life care. A second line of research involves how health care providers can improve care for those who are dying and those who care for them (professional and family) by engaging in meaningful end of life tasks.
