Rob Chandra is a Lecturer and Distinguished Teaching Fellow at Berkeley Haas, where he teaches courses on entrepreneurship and venture capital. He is a two-time recipient of the Earl F. Cheit Outstanding Teaching Award.
Chandra also a general partner with Avid Park Ventures, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm. Prior to founding Avid Park, Chandra was a Managing Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, where he served on the firm’s investment and management committees. Since entering the venture capital industry in 1996, Chandra has been involved with more than 25 early-stage investments that have gone public or been acquired by public companies. He has been recognized on the Forbes Midas list of the top 100 venture capitalists five times over his career. Prior to entering the venture capital profession, Chandra worked for McKinsey & Company and Accenture.
Chandra holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from UC Berkeley.
