Robert Villa joined the adjunct faculty in 2013 and teaches courses in human behavior and the social environment.
After obtaining a BA in urban studies from Loyola Marymount University in 1990, he earned his MSW at Loma Linda University in 2004.
An experienced health care professional in management, he has assisted in managing the operations of a dialysis facility. He is currently a clinical social worker at Loma Linda University Medical Center’s Emergency Department and outpatient adult hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis centers, where he is an active member of the emergency management team and is responsible for maintaining compliance with regulations, codes, and standards relating to disaster preparedness and emergency management.
