Biography

Eve Rosenzweig is a Professor of Information Systems & Operations Management (ISOM) at Emory University. She joined the Goizueta Business School faculty in 2002 after receiving her PhD in Operations, Technology, and Innovation Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Professor Rosenzweig brings rich industry experience to her academic career. Prior to pursuing a PhD, she was a warehouse manager at Frito-Lay, Inc. and a materials analyst for Nordson Corporation.

Her research examines the influence of strategic operations-based choices on capabilities and business performance, with a focus on learning and performance measurement. A related stream of Professor Rosenzweig's research explores the enabling role of technology in supply chain strategy. She takes a cross-disciplinary perspective in her research, often blending concepts and frameworks from strategic management, organizational behavior, and information systems to shed light on strategic issues in operations management.

Professor Rosenzweig's research has been published in Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, and other leading academic journals. Her research has been distinguished by several awards, including the Stan Hardy Award, which is given annually to highlight the best published paper in operations management across a set of five journals. She has served as a Senior Editor for Production and Operations Management (since 2007) and as an Associate Editor for Journal of Operations Management (since 2008) and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management (since 2021).

Professor Rosenzweig has developed and taught core courses in the areas of operations management and information systems at the undergraduate and MBA levels. She currently teaches an elective she developed, Operations Strategy, in the BBA, full-time MBA, and evening MBA programs. Professor Rosenzweig was the recipient of the Emory Williams Distinguished Teaching Award in 2005 and the Evening MBA Distinguished Elective Educator Award in 2015 for excellence in teaching at the Goizueta Business School.

The student led organization provides professional and personal development opportunities for women at Goizueta by fostering relationships inside and outside the Emory community.“Having a community of likeminded individuals is very important.
