Biography

Professor Sreenivas Kamma's research interests include the nature of the optimal contractual relationship between stockholders and managers and its effect on managerial decisions. Currently empirically investigating the effect of recent innovative defensive strategies such as selective repurchase and poison pills on the market for corporate control. He is also involved in studies of the actual, rather than intended, benefits of administered protection against foreign imports.
