Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University Professor James Sample recently joined MSNBC and CNN to discuss the federal court hearing on the use of the Alien Enemies Act.



Professor Sample was in-studio with MSNBC’s Alex Witt, former federal prosecutor Kristy Greenberg, and former Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement John Sandweg to discuss the ongoing legal battle.


He later joined CNN’s Lynda Kinkade to discuss the temporary block against President Donald Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act.
