Soarin' Over Hofstra

On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, Professor Julian Ku testified at the Foreign Abuse of U.S. Courts hearing held by the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet.

The hearing explored how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) currently utilizes the U.S. Court system in a way that has been deemed inappropriate. It also covered targeted actions that can be taken to contest and prevent the CCP’s ability to use the court system in that manner in the future.

Additionally, Professor Ku was recently awarded the Freedom and Opportunity Academic Prize. The prize recognizes higher education professionals whose innovative work advances conservative policy priorities.
