March 8 is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This year’s theme is #BeBoldForChange. People around the world are being asked to help forge a better working, inclusive and gender equal world.

Cambrian College has many women in key roles who every day help lead, guide and navigate Cambrian College towards a future of prosperity, advancement and success.


Each professional listed below is a role model and leader at the College and within our community.


Jean Brown is the Vice-President, Academic at Cambrian College. Jean is an accomplished administrator, educator and researcher. She has an extensive background in education and a reputation as an inspiring and innovative leader.


Roni Sue Cross is a Student Support Advisor at Cambrian College and has been a local leader working to de-stigmatize mental illness. She advises students in areas of career, academic and personal needs.


Sonia Del Missier is the Vice President, International, Applied Research, and Business Development at Cambrian College. Sonia is a seasoned and award-winning academic administrator with experience in business development and community leadership.


Alison De Luisa is the Associate Vice-President, Student and Employee Development at Cambrian College. She brings experience, expertise and perspective from both the private and public sectors helping people discover and reach their full potential by providing organizational leadership.


Kristine Morrissey is the Vice President, Finance and Administration at Cambrian College. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant with a strong financial background, as well as a wealth of experience in the private and public sectors that allows her to successfully navigate and lead the College during all fiscal cycles and economic challenges.
