Seed funding to fuel marketing and sales expansion of SaaS software platform and global expert network<\/p>\n

ExpertFile is pleased to announce it has closed a new $1.5-million round of seed financing led by Waterloo, Ontario based VERDEXUS with participation from Race Point Venture Capital Fund II (Boston), MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund (Toronto) and the China Canada Angel Alliance (Toronto). The round also included participation from prominent angel investors based in Canada and the US.<\/p>\n

ExpertFile is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform and global expert network that allows corporations, institutions and associations to better manage and promote their expert content to drive market visibility, website engagement and customer inquiries. Funds from this investment will be used to expand direct sales, channel partner activities and meet the growing demand from key markets such as healthcare, higher education, professional services and industry associations.<\/p>\n
