John has been featured as a keynote and supporting speaker across the world and is often asked to bring his individual, compelling perspectives on growing companies, being an entrepreneur, team-building, recruiting/hiring and creating a great place to work in the information-age.

After starting 5 successful businesses over 26 years, John’s passion to tackle large problems and dramatically improve organizational performance has roots in his deep understanding of technology, an appreciation for solving multi-generational issues, and a core belief that everyone deserves courtesy and respect.

As a founding member of the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association, John is in tune with every aspect of the people, challenges and technologies that shape the fluid recruiting landscape. John is also deeply committed to sustainable, charitable and non-profit organizations.

John also participates on numerous boards, including a position as an advisory board member to Astia, a non-profit to promote women-led organizations. Applauded for his ability to accurately predict trends in the industry and deliver engaging presentations, he has been asked to speak at events in the United States, Australia, Belgium and United Kingdom. Some of these venues and organizations include Kennedy Events, OnRec, Entrepreneurs Organization, Net Impact, Torchiana, Experience Unlimited and Northern California Human Resource Association.

From 1987 to 1994, John was the Vice President of Human Resources for Bank of America where he led technical recruitment for an organization of 16,000 people. John earned a degree from Notre Dame in Mathematics and Computer Science and is a former member of the Unites States National (Olympic) Rowing Team.
