John has been featured as a keynote and supporting speaker across the world and is often asked to bring his individual, compelling perspective on team-building, recruiting and being an entrepreneur in the information-age.
His personable yet richly compelling way of presenting and unique message can give any audience an enjoyable, valuable experience.
After starting 5 successful businesses over 24 years, John’s passion to dramatically improve organizational performance and how people and jobs find each other has drawn upon his deep understanding of technology, the recruitment process and a core belief that everyone deserves courtesy and respect.
As a founding member of the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association, John is in tune with every aspect of the people, challenges and technologies that shape the fluid recruiting landscape. John is also deeply committed to sustainable, charitable and non-profit organizations. He also participates on numerous boards, including being an advisory board member to Astia, a non-profit to promote women-led organizations.
Applauded for his ability to accurately predict trends in the industry and deliver engaging presentations, he has been asked to speak at events in the United States, Australia, Belgium and United Kingdom. Some of these venues and organizations include Kennedy Events, OnRec, Entrepreneurs Organization, Net Impact, Torchiana, Experience Unlimited and Northern California Human Resource Association.
From 1987 to 1994, John was the Vice President of Human Resources for Bank of America where he led technical recruitment for an organization of 16,000 people. John earned a degree from Notre Dame in Mathematics and Computer Science and is a former member of the Unites States National (Olympic) Rowing Team.

I have co-presented with Mr. Younger at several different forums, including an in-person presentation sponsored by TriNet where there was standing room only. Mr. Younger is a highly sought after, globally recognized speaker and is considered a “true” expert in his field. His presentation style is one of the best I’ve ever seen – relevant, engaging, passionate and very, very informative.
I have personally benefited from John’s frequent on-line webinars as well. He presents on many of the most popular hiring topics such as how to recruit top talent, conducting the perfect interview, the increasing demand of RPO, and these are only a few. The webinars are always well-attended and you leave with a “wow” factor and a better understanding.
Here is a sampling of the many quotes from seminar attendees:
“Thank you. Great presentation and helpful information even for someone who has been doing this for awhile.”
“John and Ray, GREAT webinar! Substantive and enjoyable. Go ND (’79) and GE (Notre Dame Financial Management Program grad)
“Instructive webinar. It has encouraged me to look differently at the recruiting and interview process – and hopefully for the better.”
“It was better than many that I’ve paid to attend. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next one!
“Loved the webinar – you guys did one of the best webinars I’ve ever heard! Thanks for the complimentary guide!”
