Biography
Dr. Steven Miller is the Director of the Center for Economic Analysis, as a unit of the Michigan State University Product Center, where he specializes in economic modeling for policy, environmental, economic impact assessments, and program evaluations. His research topics center on modeling economic and financial outcomes. His evaluation studies are directed at developing approaches for evaluating economic development, environmental and tax policies as well as around public funded programs around health, nutrition and nutrition education. Much of his research involves developing and administering surveys of program participants for evaluating programming effectiveness. Dr. Miller received his Ph.D. in Economics from Oklahoma State University in 2005, with a focus on Urban-Regional Economics and Econometrics and has over 14 years of experience in economic modeling and survey development.
