Biography

Wesley Charles Chew is a Southern California based theatrical lighting designer. He has designed throughout the Southern California and western United States. Select credits include: All the Town's a Stage: A Winona Story at Great River Shakespeare Festival, Kim's Convenience at Laguna Playhouse, Assassins at East West Players, Ragtime at the Chance Theater, Senor Plummer's Final Fiesta with the Rogue Artist Ensemble, The Tragadie of Macbeth with Shakespeare Center Los Angeles, and The Chinese Lady with Artists at Play. His current design interests lie with community based, site specific work that impacts at the local level. He is an Ensemble member with the Rogue Artist Ensemble and graduated with his Master's of Fine Arts in lighting design from the University of California, Irvine in the Spring of 2017.
