Are you covering the Olympics and Advertising?

As Toyota has pulled its Olympic ads from airing in Japan, many are wondering what the commercials will look like during this month’s Olympics. In years past, corporations (Home Depot, P & G, Milk) have promoted athletes, their dedication and their families but so far very few of those ads have aired. Goizueta’s Doug Bowman, McGreevy Term Chair and Professor of Marketing says he expects fewer brands will focus their advertising on the athletes and the games.
