As the Russia/Ukraine war continues to take place on the ground, do you see any potential signs this could expand to a greater contest between Moscow and the west?
I think it depends on the status of President Putin’s rationality at the time. I think for sure, Putin understands this is a coordinated defense of Ukraine by NATO and that NATO and the United States are definitely providing the arms, so in Putin’s mind, the west is already at war with Russia. He doesn’t want a full kinetic, all-out war against the west. He knows he will lose that. So he’s likely to up the ante by strategic cyber-attacks.
