Abhishek Jain (Ph.D., Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, 2021) is currently Visiting Bhagwan Mallinath Assistant Professor of Jain Studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Prior to joining LMU, Abhishek was a Gonda Postdoctoral Fellow at Leiden University, The Netherlands. At LMU, Abhishek has been teaching two undergraduate courses, namely Hinduism, Jainism, Yoga, and Comparative Theology. The major focus of his research is on classical and modern South Asian languages and literature, literary theory, philosophy, and translation theory.
