Biography

Dr. Ahmed Alamry is an MD with Masters in Health Administration (MHA): he has over 14 years of experience in Clinical Medicine, and more than 5 years in Health Administration, and Quality Management & Patient safety in a leading healthcare organizations in Saudi Arabia. He is currently the Director of Quality Management Department, National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA), and a a certified improvement advisor by the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI). Responsible for the planning and coordination of Joint Commission International Accreditation of the NGHA, Patient safety initiatives, facilitating all major process improvements projects, implementing the Safety Reporting System (the first electronic incident reporting system) across all the NGHA sites, and training of all staff on practice standards and improvement methods including medical students.

A Physician that has worked different health care systems within Canada and Saudi Arabia, (FRCPC Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Emergency Medicine) and Masters in Health Administraion (University of Ottawa, Telfer School of Management).
