Biography

Alberto Luis Fernandez currently works in the Department of Psychological Science, at Loyola Marymount University. Alberto does research in Neuropsychology at LMU where he is the director of the Neuropsychology Across Cultures Lab. His research field is cross-cultural neuropsychology. He has published numerous articles and book chapters on the topic. He developed the Multicultural Neuropsychological Scale (MUNS) as well as the Cordoba Naming Test (Test de Denominación Córdoba) and the Speed Naming Test (Test de Velocidad de Denominación).
He teaches regularly Cognitive Neuroscience at LMU.
He also edited a book together with Prof. Jonathan Evans, entitled 'Bias in cross-cultural neuropsychological testing: problems and possible solutions'.
