Biography

Amanda Bordelon, PhD, P.E. has been a faculty at Utah Valley University since the start of the new Civil Engineering program in August 2018.  At UVU she teaches courses on civil engineering materials, engineering design, career planning seminars, statistics and economics. She was formerly a faculty member at University of Utah for 7 years teaching civil materials and researching concrete testing.   She received her BS, MS and PhD degrees in Civil Engineering, emphasized in transportation infrastructure and construction materials from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Illinois.  She currently serves on committees and attends events through ACI International since 2006 and the ACI Intermountain Chapter since 2012.
