Biography
Andy Hanselman helps develop ‘remarkable’ businesses by ‘thinking in 3D’! That means being ‘Dramatically and Demonstrably Different’! He researches, speaks about, writes about and works with high performing businesses that are winning in today’s ever increasing competitive marketplaces. He’s been doing it for over 20 years, has written two books and has presented to thousands of business leaders, decision makers and their people at conferences, seminars, team building events and workshops in the UK and around the world.
Clients tell him they like his engaging, humorous, and down to earth approach which deals with the real issues that businesses face in these times of increased competition, tighter resources, massive customer choice and ever increasing transparency.
What Andy Speaks About…….
It’s all about how ‘remarkable’ businesses compete in this fast moving world of crowded market places, rising customer expectations, transparency and inter connectedness!
He highlights how winning businesses....
Differentiate themselves from their competitors!
Create 'remarkable' customer experiences and relationships!
Get the best from their people!
Develop a sustainable culture that creates real competitive advantage!
It’s about leadership, it’s about innovation and it’s about ‘doing stuff’! Andy believes that winners take action, not notes!
His key themes are:
Creating ‘delighted and devoted’ customers… from finding them, attracting them, keeping them and maximising the relationships with them.
Maximising people performance… motivating, inspiring and leading them, and it’s about ‘revolution’… revolutionary thinking, revolutionary processes and revolutionary attitudes.
Through constant research, ongoing work with, and learning from directors, partners and senior managers of literally thousands of businesses, he’s worked hard to identify some common factors that distinguish successful organisations and their leaders from their competitors. As well as writing his third book about these characteristics, everything he does is about sharing these findings with his audiences in a passionate way to help them actually make them happen in their organisation.
Some of the organisations that Andy has worked with include....
Tommy Hilfiger, Ronseal, RBS NatWest, Specsavers. Entrepreneurs Forum, NATSPEC, Institute Of Customer Service, Gateshead College, Parkdean Holidays, Grant Thornton, B Braun, ISMM, and TEDx

Thinking in 3D!
Andy helped an international retailer's leaders and managers ‘Think in 3D’! as part of their European Store Managers Conference. It was all about exploring ways to differentiate themselves by creating ‘Dramatically and Demonstrably Different’ customer experiences! Andy challenged his audience of store managers from all over Europe to identify ways to create ‘delighted’ customers and maximise their team’s performance through effective leadership by establishing a culture that supported this.
