Angelique Allain, a native of Normandy, has been teaching French language and French literature for the last eighteen years in France, in foreign countries and in the United States.
She has taught at the International School of Palo Alto, at the International Lycee of Los Angeles, at Riverdale Country School and at Yale University where she taught contemporary French Literature courses.
She has prepared her students for important exams: SAT, IB, AP language and literature.
She has been able to use the learning from her postgraduate degree and her Master’s Degree to enhance language learning through the use of theater and performing arts. She wrote her own short plays along with activities and exercises adapted for beginners, intermediate and advanced French learners. Her third book has just been published with a pedagogical Canadian editor.
