Atiya, a contemporary muse/oracle, is one of the most prolific writers and inspirational speakers of today. Her gift of the pen, coupled with her gently calm voice and profoundly uplifting message has touched the lives of many around the globe. She uniquely strikes the chord of universal love in helping those pursuing happiness and self-determination to discover the gifts within.
Atiya is an American born inspirational speaker, writer, activist and former model and actress. In 2004, she became the first woman of color to be crowned Mrs. Illinois International, placing third-runner up world-wide at the Mrs. International pageant. She has authored several books including From Ordinary to Extraordinary; Hidden Pearls: A little quaint book of poems; Petals of a Rose; and The Beauty of Being Free. She has produced several empowerment messages including Love is Not a Game; The Real Impact of Abuse; Taking Back Your Life and a spoken word CD entitled, The Inner Woman: A New Beginning. Further, she has written a number of self-help articles, essays and writings dealing with health and wellness, relationships, cultural incompetence, and self-empowerment.
Atiya has over 20-years experience in Mass Communications and personal development and is a professional trainer-for-trainers. She has lectured at colleges and universities, ministered in various spiritual houses, and spoken at numerous events throughout America, Canada, the Caribbean, and Europe.
