Biography
Born and raised in Alaska, Emmy-nominated filmmaker Beth Dewey is best known for creating edgy but relatable worlds and intense character studies. She began her cinematic education working for B-movie legend Roger Corman; she later went on to earn three Primetime Emmy nominations for Picture Editing. Dewey is an activist for gender equality in the film and TV industry. She also advocates for treatment for alcoholism and addiction, and for the rights of sex workers. Dewey spends her free time doing gymnastics, reading crime novels, and traveling the world.
