Brad Szollose, who founded the company with Douglas Cleek, who is now chief creative director, stepped down from his position as co-creative director last week. Szollose will remain on the board of the directors. "When I started K2, I wanted it to be smaller than it is," said Szollose. "The day-to-day management is not my forte. I helped put in some of the management team so I could step down." Szollose, who started the company with Cleek in 1993, is still on the board of directors.
