Biography
Brenda Lane-Oliver is President/CEO of Lane Oliver Consulting, LLC, based in Maryland. She is a nationally recognized top-rated speaker and trainer on Leadership Skills. Brenda has 15 years of management and leadership experience and has shared her experiences with more than 25,000 clients. She also managed a staff of 100 employees. She has worked with the public and private sectors. Her topics include leadership development, emotional intelligence, performance management and innovation, entrepreneurship and more.
Brenda is a Past President of the Maryland Chapter of the American Society for Training & Development. In addition, she represented Maryland in the National ASTD initiative to Train-America’s Workforce. She received several Outstanding Service Awards for her leadership in ASTD.
Brenda attended Harvard Business School ‘s Executive Leadership Program and holds dual Graduate degrees from Johns Hopkins University. Brenda is the author of Stand Up and Be Counted Now: Executive & Professional Leadership Development for Women.
