Biography
Brenda O’Connor provides leadership for Credit Union Central of Canada’s (Canadian Central) legal and governance activities. She is also responsible for staff activities in the areas of compliance, trademarks, records retention, privacy and regulatory matters.
A member of the Ontario bar and a graduate of the University of Ottawa and Carleton University, Brenda has practiced law in Ontario in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Canadian Central, Brenda spent some time in private practise and held senior legal counsel positions at CIBC and ING Canada.
