Member - Toronto Board of Trade, ICT Committee (professional)
Toronto is a significant centre for excellence and innovation in information and communications technology (ICT). The Board of Trade created the ICT Advisory Committee to increase collaboration and competitiveness within the sector. Through this committee, the Board of Trade provides a home for Toronto’s ICT companies; a place to meet and connect, forums for networking and learning opportunities, and a launch pad for policy development and advocacy.
Advisory Board Member - Technicity.ca (professional)
Brendan was a member of the Advisory Board with Technicity.ca., which brought together technology leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and executives of the Greater Toronto Area's economic development agencies for a half day of panel discussions, displays and an evening to remember, to celebrate, to brainstorm, network and create economic opportunity.
Board of Directors - Toronto Irish Film Festival (personal)
Brendan is on the Board of Directors for the Toronto Irish Film Festival (TIRFF), which celebrates the best of Irish cinema and promotes Irish filmmakers to the Greater Toronto Irish community and the Toronto film festival public. TIRFF creates a unique cultural environment for over 500,000 people who claim Irish heritage in the GTA to keep in touch with modern Irish culture, as well as bringing the best of Ireland’s creative output to a loyal film audience in the city.
