Brenno Kenji Kaneyasu’s varied interests meet at the intersection of art, literature, and philosophy. Having studied Law in Brazil, he received his PhD in Literature & Critical Theory from UC Berkeley. His fascination with the expressive power of language led him to an exploration of the visual arts and to a long-lasting engagement with the language of drawing, in particular as it relates to the human figure and its connections to narrative and storytelling.
