Biography
I'm good at helping to start companies and launch products. I've founded three Silicon Valley companies, and currently run Tivix, a software consultancy which helps other companies to incubate and launch new ideas on web, social, and mobile platforms.
I teach an entrepreneurship course at Stanford University called "Getting from an Early Idea to a Real Business", and I serve as a mentor with the Global Social Benefit Incubator at the Santa Clara University Graduate School of Business, where we help social entrepreneurs from around the world to develop, refine, and launch successful business models focused on "bottom of the pyramid" markets.
I've raised venture capital as well as angel investments for my companies, and love working to get good ideas funded.
Finally, I have a deep passion for the importance of K-12 education improvement, and am proud to serve on the board of the Stanford University School of Education.
