Biography
With more than two decades of experience in the field of mining, Brett Matich acts as director and president of Cap-Ex Iron Ore Ltd., a mining company located in Vancouver, Canada. In this capacity, Brett Matich has helped the company attract Forbes & Manhattan as a major shareholder, raise $25 million for ongoing enterprises, and produce 7.2 billion tons of iron ore. Cap-Ex Iron Ore Ltd. received special recognition from the Toronto Stock Exchange as a top mining company in 2011.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Matich served as the executive director of Aztec Resources, Ltd., an Australian iron-mining firm, which was later purchased by Mount Gibson Iron, Ltd., and now produces 3 million tons of ore annually. Brett Matich also has experience identifying mining interests around the world, and has held leadership roles in other enterprises involving mining copper, gold, and nickel.
