Biography
Bridget Ross is an innovative MedTech CEO and Board Director with a 30+ year career at companies including Johnson & Johnson and Henry Schein. She has experience defining corporate strategy across sectors and improving businesses to meet multi-billion-dollar revenue goals. With a passion for developing and counseling startup MedTech companies, she serves as the Executive in Residence for the IGNITE Accelerator, a MassMEDIC initiative, partnering with the CTA to provide mentoring. In 2020, Bridget joined the Board of Directors for LeMaitre Vascular Inc., where she is a member of the Nominating & Governance Committee.
Bridget has contributed to various leadership teams, including C200 (a women’s executive leadership organization) as a charter member of the Innovation Investing Council and on the Membership Committee, the North American Medical Device leadership team at J&J, and Co-Leader of the Top 150 Executive Program for J&J’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. Beginning her career at Johnson & Johnson, her first enterprise role started in 2008 as the Vice President of Commercial Development, Analytics & Operations for the US J&J Pharmaceutical Sector. She was promoted in 2010 to Global President of Ethicon Women’s Health & Urology (EWHU), part of the Medical Devices Sector. Following her success allowing EWHU to regain #1 market share in all categories, Bridget was promoted in 2013 to Global President of Acclarent, Inc. She shaped the company’s culture to emphasize quality and fixing FDA issues, avoiding a shutdown. Bridget rose to Vice President of Commercial Operations for J&J’s Medical Devices, North America. Integrating the commercial operations for 13 companies into one, also reducing OPEX by 20% and shaving $50M in cost from the budget, her team achieved the highest employee engagement results in the sector. Bridget moved to Henry Schein in 2017 as President of the Global Medical Group and on the company’s Executive Management Committee. She led the company to increase operating income by 8%. In 2018 she started as a Board and C-suite advisor and counseled more than 15 early-stage MedTech Founders/CEOs in leadership, operational strategy, and execution planning.
Currently, Bridget is CEO of the Israel-based company, ChroniSense Medical. Bridget was ranked among the “110 Women in MedTech” to Know by Becker’s Hospital Review in 2017, and she holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta School of Business and lives in the Boston area.
