Biography

Brigid is a health law attorney and organizational leader with 13+ years experience in regulatory compliance, human resources, joint ventures, operations, hospital contracting, physician practice mergers, change management, physician recruitment, resident training, GME funding, board governance, coding & documentation, billing policies and practices, EHR adoption, and Accountable Care Organization planning.

She is currently a partner with the law firm Harris, Beach. Prior to joining Harris, Beach, Brigid was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for UB|MD Physicians Group, a 500-physician multi-specialty university practice plan that is affiliated with the University at Buffalo Medical School.

Prior to joining UB|MD, Brigid spent four years as an assistant Erie County Attorney, assigned to provide general counsel services to the Erie County Medical Center.
