Biography
A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Bruce D. Edwards is a family law attorney, community activist, relationship coach, mentor and advocate with offices in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area and Baltimore, Maryland. No stranger to public service, Bruce is a board member of several non-profit organizations as well as state and local advisory committees. Passionate about uplifting others, Bruce began his career of service helping troubled youth in Easton, Pennsylvania and Boston, Massachusetts while pursuing his undergraduate and graduate studies. Bruce’s experience as a child welfare advocate and family law attorney has provided him an opportunity to mentor hundreds of fatherless youth. Recognizing that a father’s time investment and presence are invaluable, Bruce’s mentorship has helped fathers demonstrate a consistent familial commitment that promotes healthy and prosperous relationships. He witnessed first-hand the impact a fatherly figure had in the lives of the youth he served. In an effort to reach the father inside of you who may be searching for answers to complicated issues relating to the youth in your life, for the first time, Bruce’s core teachings have been captured in the 14 Virtues of the Good Father. This book is a must-read for men and women of all ages. Bruce enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and two daughters in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
