Biography
Bruno Conte is a social entrepreneur and manager engaged in the Third Sector, founder and board member of several voluntary associations and social enterprises in the fields of environmental protection, social health assistance and animal protection, with a common denominator: innovation. He decided to concentrate in the Third Sector as a personal commitment to ethics and the high growth potential that the sector has, as natural outlet for professionals and management in the post-crisis period.
He studied at the Milan Polytechnic, Electronical Engineering and Computer Science, from 1981 to 1986, held senior managerial positions into Italian and U.S. multinationals (such as Perkin-Elmer, IBM, Honeywell, Datapoint Corporation) and coordinated business strategies of major international ICT companies into SEMEA area, before becoming an entrepreneur in 1991, founding enterprises in the areas of call center and VoIP, computer-assisted document reading, electronic records and dematerialization, more recently complemented by providing strategic consulting on solutions, services and education through new methodologies and organization given by Web 2.0, delivering "open" and "social" company paradigm.
On 2002 founded New Tech, creating “Manager Non Profit” trademark, which leads Social Innovation into business and Third Sector, to disseminate digital culture and technological innovation, with particular focus on Web 2.0, as enablers to growth.
He is also member, counselor or board member, of professional and entrepreneurial associations, such as Compagnia Delle Opere, ConfAPI Milano, AICA, ClubTI (Assolombarda - Confindustria) and Asseprim (Confcommercio).
