Biography

Cameron is a world-class innovation executive using the lean startup process to build customer-centric businesses. He's been part of teams like X-Fire, Three Bears Alaska, BagCheck (sold to Twitter), and Rhomobile (sold to Motorola) that have improved millions of lives. He started his career in Europe and spent half a decade in Asia before returning to his home of Silicon Valley.

Cameron specializes in finding solutions by approaching opportunities from multiple perspectives. As an American with an international background, both an entrepreneur and venture capitalist and MBA who builds minimum viable products he is a full stack business person.

Cameron has helped organize conferences from the Stanford Global Technology Symposium to the Thunderbird Global Private Equity conference, and catalyzed the World Affairs Council's innovative podcasting initiative. He was the youngest ever vice chair of the International Forum and serves on the board of the Lawrence University Alumni Association. Cameron is a member of the Olympic Club's Ski Team where he has been recognized as both Rookie of the Year and as a Far West Champion in his division. Cameron enjoys yoga, minimal running, green tea and travel. He is married to Carrie Burgener who is an interaction designer at Pandora Media.

2012 Rookie of the Year

2012-05-04

As a member of the Olympic Club's ski team I was the 2012 Rookie of the Year. I usually race Slalom and GS on skis. My wife and I also love snowboarding.

International Forum Award

2006-05-25

I was one of the youngest ever vice chair's of the SF World Affairs Council's International Forum. I personally organized half a dozen events featuring speakers like Levi's CEO Phil Marineau and Patriot Act author Viet Dinh. Most of these events were broadcast locally on KQED 88.5 FM and nationwide on NPR. I also successfully launched the WAC's podcast product.

Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs Choice Award

I led Thunderbird's team to win the 2010 Silicon Valley Entrepreneur's Choice award at the Venture Capital Investing Competition.
