Biography

A seasoned film and television writer and producer, Camille Tucker has sold scripts to Sony, Universal, New Line, Fox TV and Disney studios and worked with prolific producers such as Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, Marc Platt, Debra Chase, Todd Garner and the late John Singleton. She is the co-writer of Lifetime’s critically acclaimed biopic THE CLARK SISTERS: FIRST LADIES OF GOSPEL starring Oscar nominated actress Aunjanue Ellis. It was nominated for five NAACP Image Awards, including outstanding writing. More recently, Camille has written a biopic for LeBron James’ Springhill Entertainment and Disney+, a TV pilot 50 Cent’s G-Unit and the STARZ network and is currently a Writer/Executive Producer on the Gladys Knight biopic limited series with Cineflix Studios.

Previously, Camille was an Associate Professor and director of the writing for film and television concentration at Biola University for seven years. Camille’s areas of specialization include biopics, crime, thriller and the adaptation of novels, autobiographies, true crime, magazine articles, documentaries and other forms of IP into film and television projects. She has taught adaptation workshops for Netflix internationally to writers in France, Germany, Kenya, Nigeria, Poland, and South Africa.
