Biography
With a successful career in hospital management including strategic planning, communication, advocacy and fundraising, Silver Elliott began working in health care and residential services for older adults in 2005. From 2007-2014, she served as the President and CEO of Cedar Village Retirement Community in Cincinnati, Ohio where she oversaw significant growth in services, programs and facilities. In 2014, she took on the role of President and CEO of the Jewish Home Family in Bergen County, New Jersey. Jewish Home Family is the parent organization of the Jewish Home at Rockleigh, Jewish Home Assisted Living, Jewish Home at Home and the Jewish Home Foundation. Silver Elliott has spoken extensively on both state and national levels on many healthcare topics. One particular area of interest and expertise is elder abuse prevention. Silver Elliott opened an elder abuse shelter in Cincinnati and one is set to open, the first in New Jersey, at the Jewish Home.
