Biography

Dr. Caroline LaMonda has enjoyed teaching in Loyola Marymount's Department of Communication Studies for over 25 years. Over the course of her teaching career she has taught Gender Communication, Relational Communication, Nature of Theory, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Small Group Processes, Business and Professional Communication, and Intercultural Communication.

Her teaching methods are designed to facilitate an engaging, structured and supportive classroom environment for students so that they are able to experience theoretical concepts through immediate interactions and activities based on student interests and concerns. She strives to create a classroom environment that facilitates the expression of multiple points of view, personal reflection, and intellectual rigor.
