Biography
Catherine Juon is a communications and growth strategist, based in the Greater Detroit area.
Involved in online marketing since the pre-Google days, Catherine knows first-hand the transformative power of the web for business. An insatiable entrepreneur, she most recently grew and sold Pure Visibility, a Google partner specializing in complex search engine optimization and paid search management, primarily for long-sales cycle organizations.
Recognized by Search Marketing Standard Magazine as one of the top women in Search Marketing, Catherine is passionate about helping companies grow online. In particular, she enjoys translating complex manufacturing and life science technologies to the web. These days, that's often accomplished by utilizing tools like HubSpot to create scalable systems for online marketing and sales.
Helping companies understand the ecosystem for selling online is another significant area of Catherine’s work. To this end, she partnered with Pearson to publish the book “Internet Marketing Start to Finish”, creating the first comprehensive handbook on internet marketing.
A traveller at heart, Catherine met her husband while studying in Russia. (He’s a fellow American.) 20 years later they continue exploring with their two sons and spending as much time as possible on Michigan’s beautiful beaches. You won’t often find Catherine lounging on the shore though - more likely she’ll be on a bike or in a wetsuit training for her next triathlon.
